Hey guys, let me start off by asking for prayers for our Angels and their families that are going through difficult times at the moment. Please remember Kara, Megan and Molly as they are dealing with terrible seizures at this time. Please pray for sweet Lili, our Angel sibling that is dealing with a terrible disorder called Leighs Disease. Also please say a prayer for our sweet Angel Kassy. Her cancer has returned and the doctors are not giving her a good prognosis. I ask that you please lift all our sweet Angels up in prayer, pray for their families, that they will have the strength to get through the times to come and that they are able to lean on their faith and take comfort in knowing that God is always in control. Lets pray for the safety of all our Angels, as so many of them seem to be pushing the safety boundaries these days. Last but not least, please say a special prayer for Bradys kinder teacher. She as been very sick since Friday and had her appendix burst last night. She is in the hospital very sick and in lots of pain. We pray for a speedy recovery and that she is able to come home soon. Lets keep all these families in our thoughts and prayers, as they are all facing such struggles.
Now as for our day, it was good. Brady went to school and had a good day. He loves both his teachers and his therapist, but he was really missing his teacher that is sick at the moment. I could tell that he went in the door looking for her. He was a bit sleepy today, since he didn't get to sleep til sometime just before 4am this morning. We did have a "party" earlier tonight, but I cant complain, since its been a while. I did finally get the table moved out of here, so hopefully no more falls for Mr. Smarty pants! On a good note, Brady climbed up on the potty chair today, he was so cute sitting there. But he forgot to take off his diaper and he had the pan out from under it, so that would have been a mess,lol.
Speaking of messes, I got to vacuum my van out yesterday, thanks to little man. I was sitting in the van, programming the GPS, when Brady decided to climb in. I forgot out the box of laundry detergent in the back, until I started smelling it. Yep Brady climbed in the back and poured it all in the floor and all over the seat. He then drooled all over it and smeared it in! So I ended going to the car wash and vacuuming up an entire box of detergent! But hey, at least the van smells Tide fresh,lol.
Well guess I better get going here, Brady is out of sight and way to quiet,so that's not a good sign. I will post more later.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to share Brady's latest accomplishment! Normally I make him walk out to the van, I open the door and help him climb in the back seat. Well now he has decided that he will go to the passenger side, open the door and climb in, all by himself! He looks like such a big boy! |

Well its been a while since I posted so thought I would attempt it this morning. We had a good week last week, Brady had a blast at school and hes learning so much. They are working really hard with picture cards right now, hes catching on quickly. We went camping this past weekend and had so much fun. He made lots of new friends, and had to visit each campsite to say hello,lol. We took his trike, but didn't get far with it. He refuses to keep his foot on the peddles. We ended up tying his feet on the peddles with a pair of socks. It worked really well for the most part, but we still couldn't get him to peddle. We let him roll down the side walk, with his Nana at the bottom to catch him. He had a bit of an accident one time, but he got up laughing, so alls well that ends well :) Were gonna keep working on the trike, I really think he will be able to get it sooner or later. Anyways he now has two skinned knees and lots of bug bites. He had on spray, but I guess hes so darn sweet the bugs just couldn't resist. I swear he looks a site right now. He already had a skinned knee before the trike accident, he fell under the carport earlier in the week. Well he was pushing a chair around the room last night and fell again, scraping his back and shoulder. As if that wasn't enough, about an hour ago I went to put some more clothes in the washer and came back to find him layed out on the floor, he fell off a little table that we brought in to play games on. So he now has more scrapes on his shoulder and a knot on his head! He doesn't seem bothered though, hes happy and giggly, well actually giggly manic! Hes as manic as I have ever seen him, I'm actually a little concerned. He cant seem to give me enough kisses, hes trying to bite, pulling my hair, rubbing my head and climbing all over me. I'm afraid to give his sleeping pill since he fell earlier. So I guess we will just have to do without it and hunker down for the night. I hope he goes to sleep soon or he wont be any good for school tomorrow and neither will I.
Anyways back on a good note, other than being manic right now, he is doing well. So far we aren't seeing any seizures. His teachers said they thought they seen some strange movements at school last week, but couldn't be sure and we haven't seen anything since then, so who knows. He is trying so hard to communicate these days. I can just see those little wheels turning, just wish I could get in that little head of his.
Well that's about it for now. I better go since Brady is now sitting on the table again. I'm gonna have to move this thing out of here. Will post more later. Wish us luck at school tomorrow. |

Today has been a good day. Brady done really well in school. He brought home some cool work that he done, with some help, he traced his name. He also painted me a cool paper plate, of course he had to wear some of the paint, lol. I am just amazed at the things hes doing at school, but I always knew he was capable, he just needed the chance. His teachers have been so wonderful with him, he totally loves them! He has calmed down so much since he started school, I think that the key to getting the bad behaviors under control is all about communication. Hes getting a new communication device for school soon, were really excited to see how he does with it. He is using pictures to ask for things that he wants, hes doing really well with this. I cant wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for him, he is thriving. His seizures are under control, which also plays a big part in his progress. I can truly say that life is great! Were so proud of our little man!
Anyways my little stripper is at again, so gotta go get some clothes back on him. I will post more later. |

Well, I decided that my hubby wasnt going to get off early enough anytime soon, to fix my washing machine, so I fixed it myself, yay for me!!!!!!! Our laundry mat days are over, thank God!!
Things are good here. Brady has been manic a couple days this week, he really gave them a run for their money at school yesterday. I warned his teachers when I brought him in, that he was on it. When I came back to get him, they totally agreed, lol. He was determined to do the total opposite of everything they and me wanted him to do. He was leaving a path of destruction everywhere he went!
Last night I got motivated and decided that it was time to start pottying in the big potty, since Brady wouldnt keep his clothes on anyway. Of course he showed me a new reason why this probably isnt going to work. He sat on the potty for about 20 minutes, refusing to potty but trying to flush the toilet the entire time. I finally decided to let him up, so he came back to this room, took his diaper off and peed an empty pampers box, how ironic, lol! Well I took him back to the potty and made him sit there for a while longer, giving him a cup, hoping to convince him to pee in the potty this time. Well he threw his cup down in the potty, so that idea wasnt such a good one. I let him sit there for a bit while I done some other things, he must have flushed to toilet at least 100 times. So now I have to find a way to keep him from flushing the toilet over and over and get him to actually potty. I swear this kid is always 2 steps ahead of me!
His sleeping is getting better, thank God! He is actually sleeping on a blanket on the floor at the moment. Well I guess I better go enjoy my quiet time. I will post more later. |

Where to start........... Well first I will tell you about our weekend. My washing machine has been messed up for several weeks now. We have only been washing the necessary items at Maw Maws house, meanwhile the rest is steadily piling up. I think every sheet and comforter in my house was dirty, since we all know that Brady pees on my bed about every other day. Let me tell ya, you cannot be without a washing machine, with an Angel!! So anyways we have been waiting on the part to fix the washer, it was just a small plastic pulley for the motor. Well Friday the part shows up and it weighs 18 lbs!!!!!!!!!! I kinda figured what had happened, sure enough when I opened it, instead of sending the $27 part they had sent the entire motor for $280! I got on the phone and called them back, we arranged to send the motor back,since we don't need the whole thing! But then I had to wait until Monday for the right part to get here. It did come yesterday,but since my husband works late every night, I might just have to hire me a boyfriend to put it on, just kidddddding :) Hopefully I get my washer fixed tonight. My husband called earlier and told me that he was getting gout in his knee again, my reply was, well you better come on home and get my washer fixed before you get to where you cant walk, Im such a sweet wifey,lol.
Anyways back to my story. I had, had enough of no washer by this weekend. So I piled my car to the top with clothes, blankets, sheets, etc. Me and Brady took off to the laundry mat. Well I wasn't sure how much it costed, or if they even had a change machine, so I dragged Brady in to check it out. OMG! It used to be $.25 when I was a kid, to wash clothes, now its $1.25!!!!!!! So I changed my dollars and called my mom to come help me watch Brady while I got the clothes in. We got tired of waiting so I unloaded the car, load by load, holding onto Brady's hand with my other hand. He did manage to escape one time and head around the back of the building, hes so nosey! I even had to carry the laundry detergent in separately, because I had to hold Brady's hand with the other hand. This was one day that I needed not only and xtra set of eyes, but an xtra set of hands as well. Anyways I get everything inside and start loading up the washer, stopping every 5 seconds to get Brady off of the nice girl that was there, and to keep him from opening and closing all the lids on the washers and dryers. He was going around pushing all the coin slots in and trying to escape out the door that was propped open. I got one load on and was starting another when Brady got loose,went over and poured the nice girls drink all over the washer and the floor! I felt so bad, I started to buy her a drink, but heck the washers took it all,lol. By this point I think I had about 6 machines going, slam packed to the tops. Well one of the machines starts making a terrible noise, so I go over the check it out. I was thinking oh this has to be one that I have overloaded with sheets and towels, but nope, its the one that has only one king sized comforter in it.When I open the lid smoke goes everywhere, and even though I had it set on cold, the water was really hot. Well my mom has made it by this time, we decide that rather than finishing this machine off, we will have to drag this over sized comforter out and put it one of the over sized washers. Naturally we figure out that those machines are out of order :( So Im dragging this soaking wet comforter (it was soooo heavy), out of the machine into my basket,filling the basket with water. Well Brady being the helper that he is, decides that he should turn this basket over so that he can play in the water. Yep we burned up the machine and we flooded the laundry mat!!!!!!!!!! So here me and mom are fighting with Brady, and mopping the whole place up. We also had to mop of the drink that Brady had spilled earlier. So I man handle this comforter, drag it to my van, where I threw it on the asphalt and left it to drain. I had to have my basket for my clothes that were still washing. Finally my clothes got done, I loaded all them up still wet, dragged them to the van, threw the soaking wet comforter in the floor and we headed home. I was so hot and tired by this point, I didn't care if my floor got wet or not! I brought all those heavy clothes home and dried them here, at least my dryer will works :) I told Craig that if I never see another laundry mat, ever again, it will be to soon, that's the end of our laundry mat adventures!
Anyways everything else is good here. Brady's ENT appt went well yesterday, he got a clean bill of health :) He is in a great mood, has even been watching cartoons today, yey!!!!!!! He was so funny earlier, he seen a commercial about this dinosaur that growls and walks around. Well he has that same dinosaur, but his doesn't walk and its not remote controlled. After the commercial he hops down and prisses over the his toys, pulls down his dinosaur and starts playing with it. I kept waiting for him to bring it to me and start fussing, wanting me to make his walk,lol. It was really cute. I have decided that the remote control one has to be added to his Christmas list this year.
Well that's about it for me, Brady is over there trying to stand up in his highchair, to reach something up the wall. Gotta go get him before we end up getting hurt. I will keep you guys posted on anything new. |

Brady seems to be doing better, not nearly as manic. He and Peyton are staying with Maw Maw tonight, so I'm heading to bed after this post. I do have to brag on one of Brady's new skills. He is learning to clean up his toys! Its been some hand over hand and some of it he is doing on his own,but never the less, hes getting there. He picks up the toys while we sing "clean up,clean up, Brady's gonna clean up". He puts the toy up and claps for himself, its so darn cute! I just hope he doesn't catch on that its actually work,lol.
Anyways heading to bed now. Will post more later. |

Hey Guys,
Sorry for slacking on our posts lately, its been crazy here. Brady has decided that sleeping is no longer on his list of important things to do. He has also picked up a nasty habit of hitting himself in the head, as if something is bothering him. This all started after he started having trouble with his ears,so I think that its going to be linked to that. We go back to the ENT on Monday, so hopefully he can give us some much needed insight into what is going on.
Brady went to school yesterday, after only 4 or 5 hrs of sleep that morning. He was really tired, and of course I was even more tired! He done well though! He showed me how he has been learning to match objects with pictures :) His teachers are so wonderful with him! I know hes going to learn in leaps and bounds before the end of the school year!
Anyways, we came home and he refused to go to sleep. We stayed up til after 7:30 am (the next day)! I managed to finally get him to sleep, but he kept waking up, fussing,so I of course got little to no sleep. Here we sit at 12:30 am and still hes going strong! Brady has been totally manic lately. I will clean up this room and in 5 minutes he has it destroyed again. He thinks that all the toys have to be out of the toy box, off the shelves and in the floor. He thinks that if there is a book or he can get his hands on wet wipes, he needs to shred them in a million pieces. He thinks if he can knock his cup around hard enough and knock the non spill piece out of the top, then he should pour the entire cup in the floor! I cant seem to put things high enough for him not to reach them lately, hes into EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!! But at least he has learned a new skill, how to use spray cans, so it smells grapey fresh in this room :) Oh and another new skill he has learned, is how to take his tray off his high chair, not sure I'm proud of this new found skill.......
Ohhhhhhhh, I cant wait til this weekend, my hubby is going to have so much fun with him, while I go to sleep :) I told I'm tonight he better not be making any plans, hes on hurricane Brady duty this weekend!
Well I guess I better be going. My tv is flashing auto channel search and has a scratchy screen, all thanks to Mr. Poopy Pants over here! Gotta see if I can fix that and once again clean up the path of destruction!
I will keep ya posted on the sleeping thing, say a HUGE, HONKIN, PRAYER for us :) |

Hey guys! Brady is doing fine, other than being still awake at 3:30am! Not sure whats going on with him. Even Gustav doesn't visit us, it looks like Hurricane Brady has been through this room :) Oh well, at least hes happy, so it could be worse. He has been picking at his ear, and it has been bleeding a little bit. Hopefully it just hasn't had time enough to heal yet. Houdini just had a party, not a good thing! Mr. Stinky pants had a dirty diaper,so I thought. I went to pull down his Brady proof pjs and found out that he had defeated me,yet again! To my surprise, he had no diaper on and did have dirty pants,ick!!! I literally had to go in search of the dirty diaper, I found it in the toy box,lol. He has been doing so many cool things, I cant even think of them all right now. One cool thing he done was, he picked up some shapes that go with a shape sorter we have,he brought the shapes and put one in each of my hands. He then walked over and picked up the shape sorter and brought it to me. He then took my hand and put the shapes in the right holes :) Another thing he done was,he wanted the TV turned on,so he brought me the remote. It takes two remotes,one for the TV and one for the satellite. So I told him to go and get me the other remote so I could turn the TV on,well he did. He walked right over,picked it up and brought it to me,and jumped up and down,like "ok mom,turn it on now",lol. Now I'm not sure if this is cool or now,havent decided, but he went over,climbed up in his highchair,where he goes to time out for "parties". I was telling him "good job",when I realised he had put himself in time out,because he was going to sit there and have a party,lol. Hmmm,speaking of which,hes putting himself in time out now.............
Peyton is doing much better,the fever is gone. His tonsils still look a mess,but hes better. We will get his mono test results back on Tuesday. He's been sleep walking around the house tonight,its to funny,lol.
Anyways better go see why Brady put himself in time out. Will post more later. |
