Brady had a good day today, after sleeping all night last night! He and I made a trip to town to pick up groceries and some other items. He walked the entire time we were in one of the stores, but he was all over the place, greeting everyone. I don't think we made it out of the store without him either pick pocketing, high fiving or hugging every person in there, lol. I did decide to buy him a child leash, so that I could actually get some shopping done without him running half way to the other side of the store. I swear its a wonder someone didn't snatch my purse out of the buggy, as many times as I had to abandon it, to retrieve my little monkey. Anyways we went on to the grocery store, but with the leash on this time. He kept it extended out as far as it could go, while he again, greeted everyone there. I best at least 20 people must have told me, "he's a happy boy today",lol. This kid never ceases to amaze me. I had numerous people come up to me and say to Brady that they remembered him from a restaurant, store or some other place. I had to laugh because those people wouldn't have remembered me, had it not been for Brady. I may not be well known around town, but my little guy sure is. Our trips to town tire me out, but its so much fun to watch him interact with everyone, and touch so many hearts along the way. My oldest son hates to go to town, hes a homebody, so usually its just me and Brady. I told Brady when we got in the car, he is my trusty side kick, I can always depend on him to look forward to going to town. I think he likes to shop as much as a girl would, lol. Anyways that's about it for now. You guys don't forget to order your Angelman Calendars, all profit is donated directly to the Angelman Organization! Just scroll down on the right side of the page to Maggie's Blog and you will find the link to order there. Thanks for doing such a jam up job, as usual Erin, Maggie, Ella and Rob!

About Brady

Read Brady's Story Here

I am 11yrs old and I have Angelman Syndrome. I may have this syndrome, but I dont let it hold me back. I love life and live it to the fullest every single day. My mom says that our research organization, Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, is working really hard on a treatment or even a cure for me and my friends. I am thankful to have 25 words but I look forward to the day that I can carry on long conversations and talk so much that everybody has to ask me to please be quiet for a few minutes :) Anyway, mom says Im awesome and super funny and I have to agree, lol.
