Well its been a long night here. Our Saint Bernard,Bailey is due to have pups any day,so I hung out here with her and Brady all night. Between her and Brady,I got no sleep at all. Brady is getting so tall,he stretched out along the entire couch and kicked me everytime I tried to lay down. Bailey of course was pacing all night :(
Anyways I haven't been to sleep yet,so just trying to keep myself busy, since Brady is going strong this morning. Brady has been up to a lot here lately. Last night my husband was asking what Brady wanted for supper, mashed potatoes or canned spaghetti. I told him that we would let Brady choose what he wanted. So I held up a can of spaghetti and a pack of potatoes, well he immediately chose the potatoes,he knew exactly which one he wanted, even though both of these things are his favs. It was so cool, seeing him make his own choice as to what to have for supper. Anyway he ate nearly the entire package of potatoes, all by himself. Another cool thing he done, was last night as well. I gave him a cup with dry cereal, Lucky Charms. Anyway he sat down in the floor and poured it all out, picking through, eating only the marsh mellows. When he had eaten all those, he brought me his cup, that they were in,and started jumping up and down for more marsh mellows, lol. It was just so funny to see him pick out only the marsh mellows and leave the rest, typical little boy, lol.
Anyways we did have a bit of a scare this morning. I went to the bathroom, was only gone a minute, well I heard something so ran back in the room where Brady was, only to find the door open and Brady gone. He had opened the door, gone outside, got some dirt, brought it back in,and went back out for a second load, lol. He was only at the edge of the carport, thank goodness. I'm guessing that his big brother didn't shut the door good when he went out last. Oh well at least Brady got to make sand pies in the therapy room.
Well,I'm beat, and not sure that what I'm typing is even making any since, lol. So IMO signing out for now. Will post an update soon.

About Brady

Read Brady's Story Here

I am 11yrs old and I have Angelman Syndrome. I may have this syndrome, but I dont let it hold me back. I love life and live it to the fullest every single day. My mom says that our research organization, Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, is working really hard on a treatment or even a cure for me and my friends. I am thankful to have 25 words but I look forward to the day that I can carry on long conversations and talk so much that everybody has to ask me to please be quiet for a few minutes :) Anyway, mom says Im awesome and super funny and I have to agree, lol.
