Well we made for the endoscopy yesterday. Didn't get a chance to post,as we were all so tired when we got in. We weren't home long before we hit the hay.
Anyways the doc said that everything looked good, except the esophagus. He said that it was thickly lined with rough, white patches,no idea what it is. He did take several biopsies,so hopefully we can learn something from those. But if many of you may remember, for the last year, since Brady's mono,he gets the white patches in his mouth, with no explanation as to why. I really think that its going to be linked back to the mono,or Epstein Barr virus.
The GI doc said that he thinks the white patches may be a yeast,or some other kind of infection,or a possible allergy of some kind. So if the tests all come back negative,we will be going to see the ped,and most likely an allergy doctor for more testing. That's about all we know for now on that. But I will post more as soon as we know,2 to 4 weeks.
On a lighter note,Craig and I took Brady with us to finish up our Christmas shopping today. Brady had a blast and was in the best kind of mood. But man oh man,has he been one stubborn, but extremely sure of what he wants, little turkey. He had a blast socializing with everyone at the restaurant. He even made a girlfriend while there, though she was much older than him, lol. He helped pick out Bubbas Christmas presents at Toys R Us and at the Mall. He kept holding peoples hands in the mall, but they all seemed to really enjoy it,he made new friends everywhere we went. And of course he picked out himself a Christmas present while we were at the Mall. We were strolling along, when we walked past a Lexus they had parked, advertising I guess. Anyways Brady pitched a fit to get to that car for some unknown reason. He even through himself down in the floor pitching a fit to get to the car. We let him go to see if we could figure out what he wanted, but he just went over and tried to open the door, lol. I told him we couldn't do that,or we would get a ride, straight to the police station, once the car alarm went off, lol. So Craig dragged this kid away from the car, kicking and fussing. We went ahead and done our shopping, but had to walk past the car to get out of the Mall. There were several other cars along the way,but we didn't have any problems with them. But once we got back to the Lexus,Brady went ballistic yet again. He threw himself down and we had to fight him off the car, again!! So we told him that he was way to young to get a car from Christmas, but he didn't seem to think so... Once we got past the car,he was ok after that. He did really try hard to convince us to get him several toys in the other store that we went in,and he never does that. I know it seems so crazy to some people, but were so proud of him for all of this. It really is a milestone for him. Most kids have already gone through the stages of "I want,I want". Brady is just now starting this. It just means that hes moving forward in development. Its funny the things that we are thankful for,the things that many people just take with a grain of salt.
Well I'm beat,so I'm heading to bed soon, just wanted to post and update for those of you wondering. Have a great night.

My mom says that our research organization, Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, is working really hard on a treatment or even a cure for me and my friends. I am thankful to have 25 words but I look forward to the day that I can carry on long conversations and talk so much that everybody has to ask me to please be quiet for a few minutes :) Anyway, mom says Im awesome and super funny and I have to agree, lol.
