As you can see, we had a blast camping this weekend. Brady made many new friends. We went to a shopping center, where he loved socializing with everyone. He made friends with a band that was playing out on the side walk, they ended up singing to him while he danced for everyone, it was to cutest thing I have ever seen! I tried taking him in to a couple of shops, but after nearly breaking some very expensive items, I decided he would be best sitting outside on the bench with his dad, lol. That was fine by him, he loved playing with everyone passing by. At one point he ran over the a big glass window, put his face against it and blew kisses to some ladies that were sitting on the inside eating. They all started laughing and waving at him, he was waving and giggling. I then decided that he might like to ride the escalator, but we almost fell when we were getting on. He loved riding up, but my legs didn't like holding him and walking back down :) Anyways we did have fun and the best part was, that he slept in his own bed, instead of with us :)) He played in the sand, water and mud all weekend long, and loved riding the wagon down all the trails.
Its back to the ole drawing board tomorrow :( We start our first day of PT, so that should be interesting. Everything else is good, he continues to progress every day. He is doing so well at answering yes or no questions, and has become extremely opinionated about what he wants or doesn't want to do. He really tells me off if I make him go a direction he doesn't want to, or do something he doesn't want to do. I can ask him if he wants to do something and he will shake his head yes or no. I know that this is a developmental milestone for him, but it sure makes things more difficult.
Well that's about it for now. I will post more after PT tomorrow.

What is Angelman Syndrome?

About Brady

Read Brady's Story Here

I am 11yrs old and I have Angelman Syndrome. I may have this syndrome, but I dont let it hold me back. I love life and live it to the fullest every single day. My mom says that our research organization, Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, is working really hard on a treatment or even a cure for me and my friends. I am thankful to have 25 words but I look forward to the day that I can carry on long conversations and talk so much that everybody has to ask me to please be quiet for a few minutes :) Anyway, mom says Im awesome and super funny and I have to agree, lol.
