We are doing two fundraisers this year,the online firstgiving,and then a different kind of fundraiser,in honor of our Angel, Brady Fore,and to honor all the other Angels. We will be selling Paint A Block kits.The kit will include the block,paints and brush. You can paint your block and either send it back to us,or we will pick it up. Once we have met the deadline,we will then build an Angelman Awareness Wall here in our community,for all to see. The kits will cost $10.00 each,then $3.50 will be taken from each block and donated to the Angelman Organization to help raise Awareness,for research and to help support newly diagnosed families. This is a great way to help support the organization and to promote Angelman Awareness here in our community. The deadline for this project will be April 7th. I am 11yrs old and I have Angelman Syndrome. I may have this syndrome, but I dont let it hold me back. I love life and live it to the fullest every single day.
My mom says that our research organization, Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, is working really hard on a treatment or even a cure for me and my friends. I am thankful to have 25 words but I look forward to the day that I can carry on long conversations and talk so much that everybody has to ask me to please be quiet for a few minutes :) Anyway, mom says Im awesome and super funny and I have to agree,lol.
