I read this and I am going through something similar with my daughter except no seizures yet. She is 12 months old and just learned how to sit up and falls down often. Doesn't stand or pull self up, no crawling but she rolled at 4 or 5 months. She has involuntary movements of her arms and legs similar to a puppet and hand flaps. She does babble but very minimal. She is easily brought to laughter but also easily agitated and frustrated especially with trying to move her too fast. She has delayed myelination of the white matter on her MRI. We thought at first she had CP but she doesnt. She also had reflux and apnea that started at 5 or 6 days old. She also has recurring high fevers that get up to 105... she sees a geneticist on December 1st.

What is Angelman Syndrome?

About Brady

Read Brady's Story Here

I am 11yrs old and I have Angelman Syndrome. I may have this syndrome, but I dont let it hold me back. I love life and live it to the fullest every single day. My mom says that our research organization, Foundation for Angelman Syndrome Therapeutics, is working really hard on a treatment or even a cure for me and my friends. I am thankful to have 25 words but I look forward to the day that I can carry on long conversations and talk so much that everybody has to ask me to please be quiet for a few minutes :) Anyway, mom says Im awesome and super funny and I have to agree, lol.
